The Dingoes won the inaugural PAFL premiership in
2004 and due to the initial “Rest of the World”
recruitment process, have a very diverse team from
a broad range of nationalities. It is hoped that
we can add another couple of teams to the competition
to create a lot more excitement within the league. |
Player Profiles
|
| James
"Hungry" Young |
| This
16 year old is showing a lot of promise
and was the only Kiwi player in the Philippine
Eagles team. Aside from the dreadlocks,
there are many similarities with Kevin Bartlett.
Why handball it when I can kick the goal
myself? |
| Philip "Phiza" Davis |
| Our regular Pommy player, has developed into a good player giving the Dingoes stability and presence in the back line. Is very dedicated to personal improvement and was the Philippine Eagles one and only Pommy representative. |
| Peter "Bato" Stone |
| The PAFL co-founder and retiring Vice President has shown to be a very valuable forward pocket and flanker. Great skills on both sides of the body and can read the play very well. Takes pleasure in psychologically humiliating opponents. |
| Robert "the greyhound" Powell |
| A very fleet footed player and hard to catch. His fitness is his key asset and is very quick over 50 metres. Doesn't mind the odd goal either. |
| Karl "Richie"
Amurao |
| The very first Filipino to play Aussie Rules in the PAFL. Also a rugby convert, he has proven himself a very valuable member of the Dingoes line up. Is very fit and can run all day if required. A very dedicated player and developing into a great "tagger".

|
Dan “the dasher” Casey |
| This new comer to the game has shown that Americans can develop into good Aussie Rules players. He has great leg speed and is very agile. Has developed into a bit of a goal sneak. |
