Weekly Match Results
In a two team competition, it is difficult to create excitement and anticipation when it comes to a points scoring table, so initially, a points system was devised with a sliding scale of points depending on what margin the winning team wins by. This proved fairly successful in our formative years but as we are now getting such a cross range of players of various talents and nationalities, the competition has evened itself out over time and out grown the original points scoring system.
In 2008, the PAFL Committee decided to dispose of the original Points / Margin System and revert to the traditional AFL Points System of 4 points for a Win, 2 points for a Draw and 0 points for a Loss, with a For and Against Scoring System for calculating the scoring percentage. At the end of the season, the team with the most points is awarded the PAFL Premiership.
